From theory to praxis

I find moments of connection through yoga and movement, mindfulness and meditation, nature, poetry and music

Those can be moments of joy, of compassion or courage and lead to greater connection to myself. By sharing my personal experience, I hope to make the idea of connection more tangible for you. What does building connection look like in real life, on an everyday basis? How can you move from theory to praxis?

I hope my moments of connection may inspire you to seek yours.

The Sting of Loneliness

When it comes to your private moments of despair, YOU are your best bet to get through.

My mind gets to rest and I come out, recharged, energised, more balanced, more hopeful, more spacious - less tight.

That night I fell into bed a different kind of tired! Getting up and moving was totally worth it.

Lying on Your Yoga Mat

It is the connection with the ground that carries me, that brings with it a certain quietness, and I’m able to become more aware of how much I belong to myself - body, mind and spirit - all connected; all three coming together, here on the floor.

I love this sensation; such a simple thing – so much power.
