Reconnecting with Movement

– I don’t want to move my body.

Sometimes, especially after being on holidays or longer periods with no exercise, the best you can do is show up.

There is a chance moving your body will suck at the beginning, but you will get there. Make sure to be gentle and kind to yourself and use any joyful memories you might have on what it feels like when you’re in the ‘fit’ zone as your motivation.

There is joy to be found in getting off the couch and move your body, even though you might have to grid your teeth at the beginning.

Be proud of you for facing the discomfort and for doing something good for yourself. Soon you’ll be back making new memories of the joy of you moving.
