Who am I Kidding?

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if our inner learning would follow a linear path, very much to the motto of: “Congratulations, you have unlocked self-worth! You may advance to the next level.”

Instead it’s more like a circular journey on which we encounter similar challenges repeatedly. But, and that’s where the learning comes in, we don’t have to fall as deep as before. Bit by bit the challenges become a tiny bit less challenging as we learn to discover the triggers and know how best to respond.

So when I hear this inner voice calling me out with the usual: “Who am I kidding? I will never be able to …”, then I remind myself what drives me on: the prospect of success, or doing what I love? I want to enjoy the journey, and if it will be met by applause or ignorance is not really that important.

And so, I put this little voice of mine back in its box and move on, doing what I love.

From my light to yours.
